Year 6 Transition

A big warm welcome to our new Year 7 students. We are so excited that you will be joining us in September and would like to help you prepare for this very important transition. These pages are dedicated to giving you information and advice that will help you to get ready to start your journey with us.    

Starting Year 7 at Belle Vue Girls’ Academy represents a significant and exciting step — you are leaving primary school and entering a new phase of your education where you will be part of a much larger school community. You will experience many changes: moving between different subject teachers, navigating a larger campus, engaging with a broader and more challenging curriculum, and building new friendships. You may feel nervous, and that is normal. We have a well‑designed transition programme to support you every step of the way
