Each year the Department for Education (DfE) releases headline statistics for every school in England.

Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government have advised that direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another, or to data from previous years, should not be made. 

Schools are not required to publish their exam and assessment results from 2019-21.


2026 Examination Results

Belle Vue Girls’ Academy are proud to celebrate excellent GCSE, A Level and Applied Vocational examination results again this year. We are incredibly proud of our students and their achievements,they have worked hard and truly deserve their success. 

Year 13: A Level and Applied Vocational Results 2026

In A Level subjects, 40% of students achieved grades A* to B, 70% achieved grades A* to C, and over 96% achieved grades A* to E, with the average grade being a C+. 

In Applied Vocational subjects, 23% of students achieved Distinction*, 50% achieved a Distinction or higher, and 85% achieved a Merit or higher, with a 100% pass rate and an average grade of Distinction. 

Year 11: GCSE Results 2026

Year 11 achieved excellent results across the board, with 64% of students achieving the key benchmark of grade 4+ in English and Maths, and 46% achieving the grade 5+ English and Maths benchmark. Across all subjects, 70% of grades were 4+, 53% were 5+, and 20% were 7+.  There were some remarkable individual success stories, with several students achieving the top grades of 7 to 9 in all their subjects. Our GCSE results are above the Bradford average and place us in the top ten schools in Bradford,

At Belle Vue Girls' Academy have a very strong track record of GCSE success, and since 2016 have consistently recorded positive Progress 8 scores which place us above the Bradford and National average.

Our Sixth Form outcomes are equally strong, with consistently high numbers of students achieving top grades in Academic and Applied Vocational qualifications.

We constantly strive to ensure that all our students progress successfully to the next stage in their education with the academic outcomes and life experiences to be confident future citizens - the leaders and change makers of tomorrow.
