Year I left BVGA | 1992 |
Current Role |
Nursing Workforce Improvement Lead at NHS England and NHS Improvement. |
Achievements and accomplishments |
A Levels at school Masters in Health Promotion / Public Health Masters in Health Policy (currently studying) I used to work in Bradford leading NHS services that supported people to help themselves such as the Health Trainer Service which helped people set SMART goals to make a difference to their health and wellbeing. This skill is something that can be applied in all aspects of life. I have worked nationally in the NHS for five years and have helped NHS organisations work with their patients and local communities, established the NHS Cadets programme, as well as leading the NHS Youth Forum. |
My advice to BVGA students |
Be honest and genuine with yourself and others. Be positive and keep moving forward even when things go wrong, as this helps us improve and gain strength. Always work collaboratively with others: we really are in it together. |
