About BVGA
Belle Vue Girls’ Academy was founded in 1877 and is one of the oldest non-selective girls’ schools in the country. We are proud of our rich Bradford heritage and the contribution our academy has made to the education and lives of the girls and women of Bradford for over one hundred and forty years. Since 2016, Belle Vue Girls’ Academy has been part of the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust (BDAT) family of schools.
Belle Vue Girls' is a popular academy with a reputation for high educational standards, excellent pastoral care, and our inclusive ethos. We provide an exceptional educational experience for all, empowering our students to become confident learners, confident communicators, and confident future citizens, and we are committed to breaking barriers so all our young people can thrive and achieve. Please see the Vision and Values page of the website to find out more.
Our students make excellent progress, achieving outcomes that enable them to move on successfully to university, apprenticeships, and employment. The majority continue their studies in our popular Sixth Form, where we offer a broad range of A Level and Applied Vocational qualifications.
